ܒܥܐ ܐܢܐ ܗܟܝܠ ܡܢܟ ܕܡܢ ܩܕܡ ܟܠܡܕܡ ܒܥܘܬܐ ܬܗܘܐ ܡܩܪܒ ܠܐܠܗܐ ܘܨܠܘܬܐ ܘܬܚܢܢܬܐ ܘܬܘܕܝܬܐ ܚܠܦ ܟܠܗܘܢ ܒܢܝܢܫܐ
bnynsh' klhwn khlp wthwdyth' wthkhnnth' wtslwth' l'lh' mqrb thhw' bewth' klmdm qdm dmn mnk hkyl 'n' be'
I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks, be made for all men:

ܚܠܦ ܡܠܟܐ ܘܪܘܪܒܢܐ ܕܥܘܡܪܐ ܫܠܝܐ ܘܢܝܚܐ ܢܥܡܪ ܒܟܠܗ ܕܚܠܬ ܐܠܗܐ ܘܕܟܝܘܬܐ
wdkywth' 'lh' dkhlth bklh nemr wnykh' shly' dewmr' wrwrbn' mlk' khlp
for kings and all who are in high places; that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence.

ܗܕܐ ܓܝܪ ܫܦܝܪܐ ܘܡܩܒܠܐ ܩܕܡ ܐܠܗܐ ܡܚܝܢܢ
mkhynn 'lh' qdm wmqbl' shpyr' gyr hd'
For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior;

ܗܘ ܕܨܒܐ ܕܟܠܗܘܢ ܒܢܝܢܫܐ ܢܚܘܢ ܘܢܬܦܢܘܢ ܠܝܕܥܬܐ ܕܫܪܪܐ
dshrr' lydeth' wnthpnwn nkhwn bnynsh' dklhwn dtsb' hw
who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth.

ܚܕ ܗܘ ܓܝܪ ܐܠܗܐ ܘܚܕ ܗܘ ܡܨܥܝܐ ܕܐܠܗܐ ܘܕܒܢܝܢܫܐ ܒܪܢܫܐ ܝܫܘܥ ܡܫܝܚܐ
mshykh' yshwe brnsh' wdbnynsh' d'lh' mtsey' hw wkhd 'lh' gyr hw khd
For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus,

ܗܘ ܕܝܗܒ ܢܦܫܗ ܦܘܪܩܢܐ ܚܠܦ ܟܠ ܐܢܫ ܣܗܕܘܬܐ ܕܐܬܬ ܒܙܒܢܗ
bzbnh d'thth shdwth' 'nsh kl khlp pwrqn' npshh dyhb hw
who gave himself as a ransom for all; the testimony in its own times;

ܗܝ ܕܐܢܐ ܐܬܣܝܡܬ ܟܪܘܙܗ ܘܫܠܝܚܗ ܩܘܫܬܐ ܐܡܪ ܐܢܐ ܘܠܐ ܡܕܓܠ ܐܢܐ ܕܗܘܝܬ ܡܠܦܢܐ ܕܥܡܡܐ ܒܗܝܡܢܘܬܐ ܕܫܪܪܐ
dshrr' bhymnwth' demm' mlpn' dhwyth 'n' mdgl wl' 'n' 'mr qwshth' wshlykhh krwzh 'thsymth d'n' hy
to which I was appointed a preacher and an apostle (I am telling the truth in Christ, not lying), a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and truth.

ܨܒܐ ܐܢܐ ܗܟܝܠ ܕܗܘܘ ܡܨܠܝܢ ܓܒܪܐ ܒܟܠ ܕܘܟܐ ܟܕ ܡܪܝܡܝܢ ܐܝܕܝܗܘܢ ܕܟܝܐܝܬ ܕܠܐ ܪܘܓܙܐ ܘܕܠܐ ܡܚܫܒܬܐ
mkhshbth' wdl' rwgz' dl' dky'yth 'ydyhwn mrymyn kd dwk' bkl gbr' mtslyn dhww hkyl 'n' tsb'
I desire therefore that the men in every place pray, lifting up holy hands without anger and doubting.

ܗܟܢܐ ܐܦ ܢܫܐ ܒܐܣܟܡܐ ܢܟܦܐ ܕܠܒܘܫܐ ܒܬܚܡܨܬܐ ܘܒܢܟܦܘܬܐ ܢܗܘܐ ܬܨܒܝܬܗܝܢ ܠܐ ܒܓܕܘܠܐ ܘܒܕܗܒܐ ܐܘ ܒܡܪܓܢܝܬܐ ܐܘ ܒܢܚܬܐ ܫܦܝܪܐ
shpyr' bnkhth' 'w bmrgnyth' 'w wbdhb' bgdwl' l' thtsbythhyn nhw' wbnkpwth' bthkhmtsth' dlbwsh' nkp' b'skm' nsh' 'p hkn'
In the same way, that women also adorn themselves in decent clothing, with modesty and propriety; not just with braided hair, gold, pearls, or expensive clothing;

ܐܠܐ ܒܥܒܕܐ ܛܒܐ ܐܝܟܢܐ ܕܝܐܐ ܠܢܫܐ ܕܡܫܬܘܕܝܢ ܕܚܠܬ ܐܠܗܐ
'lh' dkhlth dmshthwdyn lnsh' dy'' 'ykn' Tb' bebd' 'l'
but (which becomes women professing godliness) with good works.

ܐܢܬܬܐ ܒܫܠܝܐ ܗܘܬ ܝܠܦܐ ܒܟܠ ܫܘܥܒܕ
shwebd bkl ylp' hwth bshly' 'nthth'
Let a woman learn in quietness with full submission.

ܠܐܢܬܬܐ ܓܝܪ ܠܡܠܦܘ ܠܐ ܡܦܣ ܐܢܐ ܘܠܐ ܠܡܡܪܚܘ ܥܠ ܓܒܪܐ ܐܠܐ ܬܗܘܐ ܒܫܠܝܐ
bshly' thhw' 'l' gbr' el lmmrkhw wl' 'n' mps l' lmlpw gyr l'nthth'
But I don’t permit a woman to teach, nor to exercise authority over a man, but to be in quietness.

ܐܕܡ ܓܝܪ ܐܬܓܒܠ ܠܘܩܕܡ ܘܗܝܕܝܢ ܚܘܐ
khw' whydyn lwqdm 'thgbl gyr 'dm
For Adam was first formed, then Eve.

ܘܐܕܡ ܠܐ ܛܥܐ ܐܢܬܬܐ ܕܝܢ ܛܥܬ ܘܥܒܪܬ ܥܠ ܦܘܩܕܢܐ
pwqdn' el webrth Teth dyn 'nthth' Te' l' w'dm
Adam wasn’t deceived, but the woman, being deceived, has fallen into disobedience;
